As for gaming, the Xbox 360 Pro System is definitely one of the best gaming systems on the market. This game console will bring you hours of enjoyment and fun because of the abundance of games that are available and the superior graphics. Xbox 360 live enables you to play online with other players around the globe or just with your friends. Whatever types of games you like to play, you can be assured that xbox will have it.
Even though the Xbox 360 pro system is considered one of the finest gaming systems available, there are some technical problems that you might experience while playing the game. An example would be the red ring of death. Whenever you see 3 red lights by the power button, then you will know your gaming console has failed.
Ever since the release of xbox 360 pro system this technical problem has existed. The lights around the power button each have a specific meaning that you should be aware of. You will have a good idea what the problem is, if you understand what each light represents.
One red light will mean that the system has failed or the actual gaming console has suffered from hardware failure. The gaming console is overheating when 2 red lights come on. It will normally tell you to shut down the machine to let it cool down.
The worst indicated is the three red lights or what is commonly referred to as the red ring of death. What this means is that your Xbox 360 gaming console has suffered from general hardware failure and that it can only be repaired if you ship it back to Microsoft.
This condition is experienced during game play. The machine freezes up without any warning. The 3 rings of death will be seen after the console is shut down for a few hours then turned back on.
Microsoft extended the warranty of their Xbox system due to the many problems they were having and from the adverse impact the ring of death had on their console. Since that red ring of death has become a very ordinary occurrence, you will find many of repair guides such as the 3 Red Light Fix on the market.
However, you need to remember that prevention is better than repair. Always try to keep your console cool and well ventilated to circumvent the feared red ring of death on you Xbox system. You need to remember that overheating cause damage on the hardware which causes the red ring of death. Do not put your Xbox console on a display case. Its much better to put the console in a well circulated area, either that or purchase a fan to and point it at your xbox console.
You might want to try playing with your Xbox 360 on an air conditioned room. This will help in preventing overheating and hardware damage. Good ventilation is absolutely necessary to avoid the red ring of death.
